1. What we collect

What you give us

• Your name, mobile number, and email address.
• Your birthday month and day, if you choose to share it.
• Feedback, comments, and a callback number if you ask a manager to reach out.
• Reservation, order, event, catering, and giveaway details, and the messages you send us through our website, chat, or social pages.

When you use our guest WiFi

• The mobile number or email you sign in with, and whether you checked the free appetizer box.
• Your device's network identifier (MAC address) and device type.
• When you connect and how often you visit.

When you visit, order, and pay

Our point-of-sale system (Toast) records orders and payments. When a visit can be tied to you, for example because you used one of our offers, joined Tavern Rewards, ordered online, or reserved a table, we may link it to your guest record: the date and time, the table, and what was spent. Payments for orders, gift cards, and table bookings are processed by our payment and ordering partners, and we don't collect or store your full card number.

Your consent and opt-out records

When you opt in to email or texts, we keep a record of it: the exact wording you agreed to, when, where you signed up, and for online forms the IP address and browser of the device you used. We also keep every unsubscribe and STOP, so they stick.

Email and page activity

Our email platform tells us whether our emails are delivered, opened, or clicked, and records bounces and unsubscribes. Our web pages collect basic technical details (like browser type and IP address) and use cookies or similar storage to work properly, for example to hold your feedback if your signal drops. Section 5 covers the analytics and ad tools on lookoutaz.com.

2. How we use it

• To take care of your reservations, orders, and table bookings, and to answer your questions.
• To run the guest WiFi.
• To send the emails and texts you signed up for, and to deliver your offers, passes, and birthday offer.
• To keep offers fair (one per guest) and prevent abuse.
• To respond to feedback and follow up when you ask us to.
• To understand which offers, events, nights, and ads bring people back and how people use our website, and to improve our food, drinks, and service.
• To keep records of your consent and opt-outs, and to meet our legal obligations.

3. Texts (SMS)

We only send marketing texts to guests who opted in to receive them. For our Text Club, that means checking the Text Club box and confirming you're 21 or older. Signing in to our WiFi with your mobile number does not sign you up. A manager may also text you about a specific visit if you asked them to. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any of our texts to stop them, or HELP for help. See the Text Club terms for how often we text.

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

4. Website chat

The chat on lookoutaz.com runs on Crisp, and the same inbox handles the messages you send us on Instagram and Facebook. Crisp stores your conversation, anything you share in it (like your name, email, or phone number), and basic details such as the page you were on and your browser. It uses a cookie to keep your conversation going between visits.

An AI assistant may answer first, using information we give it about the Tavern. Ask for a person at any time and someone from our team will take over. Please don't share card numbers or other sensitive details in chat.

5. Cookies, analytics and ads

lookoutaz.com uses cookies and similar technology to keep it working properly and to understand how people use it.

We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages and buttons people use, the Meta Pixel to measure our Facebook and Instagram ads, and PostHog for heatmaps and session recordings that show how a visit moves through the site, so we can fix what is hard to use. Session recordings hide anything typed into a form. These tools can record things like the pages you visit, what you tap, your device and browser, and your approximate location.

You can set your browser to refuse cookies, use Google's opt-out add-on for Google Analytics (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout), and manage the ads you see in your Facebook or Instagram settings. Parts of the site may not work as well without cookies.

6. Who we share it with

We don't sell or rent your personal information. We share it only:

• With service providers that work for us and only on our instructions: our WiFi provider, our email and texting platforms, our point-of-sale, online ordering, reservations, and loyalty provider (Toast), our website chat (Crisp), the analytics and ad tools in section 5, and the companies that host our websites and guest pages. They get only what they need to do that job.
• If the law requires it, or to protect the safety of our guests, staff, or business.
• If the business is sold or transferred, in which case this policy continues to apply to your information.

If you tap a link to order online, reserve a table, buy a gift card, leave a Google review, or join Tavern Rewards, you're on that company's site, and their privacy policy applies there.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your guest record while you're a guest and for a reasonable time after, so we can honor offers and know our regulars. Consent and opt-out records are kept as long as we need them to show you agreed, or to make sure you never hear from us again after opting out.

8. Your choices

• Email: use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any marketing email.
• Texts: reply STOP to any message.
• WiFi: the free appetizer box is optional. You get WiFi either way.
• Your information: email management@lookoutaz.com or call (602) 926-9786 to ask what we have about you, to fix it, or to delete it. If you ask us to delete it, we keep only a minimal record of your opt-out so we don't contact you again.
• Cookies and ads: see section 5.

9. Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction, and only our managers and the service providers above can get to it. No system or internet connection is perfectly secure. Our guest WiFi is a public network, so please use secure sites and apps for anything sensitive.

10. Children

All ages are welcome at Lookout Tavern, but our websites, email list, and offers aren't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. The Text Club is for guests 21 and older. If you think a child has given us their information, contact us and we'll delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version. If we make a big change in how we use your information, we'll make it clear here before it takes effect.
